1. Who we are

Our apps are made by Tye Design LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). Contact: support@tyedesgn.com.

2. Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our apps on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded the app from. Apps downloaded from the Apple App Store are also licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify our apps, except where the law allows it or an open-source license included with the app says otherwise.

3. Websites and content of others

AION Browser is a web browser. The websites you open, and everything on them, belong to their owners and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We don't host, upload, store, download or own any of that content, and we are not responsible for it. You are responsible for following the terms of the websites and services you use, including any rules about subscriptions or features they offer only to paying members.

4. Third-party services and intellectual property

Content on websites belongs to its owners. We claim no rights in it. You are responsible for respecting copyright and the terms, permissions and subscriptions of the websites and services you use. You may not use our apps to circumvent digital rights management (DRM), paywalls, access controls or other protection measures. Our apps don't download, save or convert media from websites. Tye Design LLC respects the rights of content owners; see section 13 for notices.

5. Features that may change

Features such as content blocking, playback, Picture in Picture, sleep timer, page summary, reader and translation work on many websites but not on all of them. Websites change often, and a feature may stop working on a site at any time. AI-generated content, such as page summaries, is provided for general information only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading. It is not professional advice and must not be relied on for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other high-risk decisions. You are responsible for independently checking important information.

6. Acceptable use

Use our apps only for lawful purposes. Don't use them to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or harm, overload or attack any website, service or person.

7. Privacy

We don't collect or store your personal data on our servers. Our Privacy Policy explains how the apps and this website handle information, including features that connect to third-party services you choose to use.

8. Paid features

Our apps are free today. If we offer paid features later, they will be sold through the App Store or Google Play under the store's payment, renewal and refund rules, and the price will be shown before you buy.

9. No warranty

Our apps and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Tye Design LLC and its members and managers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of our apps or websites you visit with them. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Without limiting the above, we are not responsible for the content, availability or actions of third-party websites and services, changes they make, inaccurate AI output, loss of data stored on your device, or your own use of the apps. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Indemnity

If you use our apps in breach of these terms or the law, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

12. App stores

These terms are between you and Tye Design LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for our apps or their support, maintenance, warranty claims, product claims, or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms for apps downloaded from the App Store and may enforce them. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Copyright notices

If you believe our apps or this website infringe your rights, email support@tyedesgn.com with the details, and we will respond promptly.

14. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using our apps after a change, the new terms apply. You can stop using our apps at any time by deleting them. We may stop offering an app or a feature at any time.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

AION Browser

No accounts, no backend. AION Browser has no sign-up and no server of ours that receives or stores your browsing. History, bookmarks, tabs, settings and website logins are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

No analytics, no ads SDKs. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising code.

Technical requests. We don't collect, store or sell personal data. The app makes only a few technical requests, like any browser: it downloads filter-list updates from our website and the icons of start-page websites from those sites. These requests carry no identifiers. Our hosting provider, like any web host, may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for a short time for security; we don't use them to identify anyone.

Websites and services you visit receive your requests directly, like in any browser, and may collect data under their own privacy policies. We don't control or receive that data. You can clear cookies, history and website logins at any time with Clear All Data.

Search goes to the search engine you choose in Settings (DuckDuckGo by default).

Voice search. On iPhone and iPad, speech is turned into text on your device. On Android, your device's speech service (usually Google) turns speech into text. We never receive or store audio.

AI summary is made on your device. On Android, you can download the AI model once from Google Play on supported phones; after that it works offline and page text never leaves your phone. On iPhone and iPad, summaries use Apple Intelligence on the device where available. Without the model, the app shows key sentences picked on your device. Translation runs on your device on iPhone and iPad. On Android, when you tap Translate, the page address is sent to Google Translate.

Ask AI (only when you tap it) opens Duck.ai by DuckDuckGo with the page address and your question. Duck.ai's privacy policy applies there.

Filter updates. To keep content blocking working, the app may download public filter files from our website (filters.tyedesgn.com), about once a day. Like any web request, this shows your IP address to our hosting provider. No identifiers are sent. You can turn automatic updates off in Settings.

Start page icons. To show icons on the start page, the app downloads each shortcut website's own icon (favicon) directly from that website, like any browser. This shows your IP address to those websites. No identifiers are sent.

Children. Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
